    There Public Zone Rules

The There public zones are open for all members to use for hosting. It is quick and easy to start hosting events. All you have to do is read the rule book in the zone, and then sign your name to the killroy sign (to acknowledge that you have read the rules and agree to follow them). The There community team checks the zones a few times each day and will add new names to the hosting list as soon as they possibly can. They also check zones to make sure there is a race track set up and ready for use.

Note: each zone has a rulebook on site, and different types of zones might have different rules. For example, a park or a yardsale zone will differ slightly from a race zone. Please be sure to read the rules for each zone where you want to host.

The following is a sample set of rules taken from a race zone:

There-owned zones are public zones and are maintained by the Community Team. They will be run fairly for all to use. The following are the guidelines and policies that will be enforced by There:

*Do not book more than 2 events on any single day at each zone. (Hosts with more than this number of events will have excess events cancelled.)
*Do not book any single event longer than 3 hours in duration (events exceeding this time limit will be cancelled).
*Be present (and not AFK and/or DND) for the duration of any and all events you book in any There-operated zones.
*You may not host invite-only events at public zones. Events must be open for all to attend.
*If you are not present for longer than 5 minutes, we reserve the right to cancel the event.
*We reserve the right to cancel the event if you are not there and available to support event attendees.
    * If you are found abusing the zone, your event will be cancelled, and your name removed from the hosting list.
*If we cancel an event, it is possible that you will receive an automatic email that states it is a moderation. Please be careful when scheduling an event.
++ If your name is removed from the hosting list from one zone, it will be removed from All zones. The first time this happens, you will lose the privilege of hosting in public zones for 1 month. The second time your name is removed, it will be for 3 months. The third time, it will last 6 months. If you continue to break the rules and abuse the zones, your name will be removed permanently.

Have fun, be nice, and follow the rules to be fair! Violations of the above guidelines can be reported to feedback@thereinc.com.

    Thank you,
    The Community Team
