Do you have a knack for interior design and outdoor landscaping? Take the Caravan Challenge during the springtime Caravan event happening in the Virtual World There.com. You can register your avatar as a competitor. Participant availability is first-come, first-serve due to limited spacing.
Only 10 participants will be able to compete per scheduled event. There are three weekly events planned to accommodate up to a total of 30 Thereians interested in participating in the Caravan Challenge. The first 30 members to register will be added to the roster in the order the applications are received. Registration will remain open until the 30 spots are filled. Enter the challenge by filling out the REGISTRATION FORM. You will receive a confirmation email from the Event Host with the time and day of the scheduled event you have been assigned to compete in.

This friendly competition is a solo decorating challenge AND a photo challenge with friends. Registered participants must have a Premium Membership Account. It does not cost the participant anything to enter the Caravan Challenge and it is a free activity for Silent and Basic Trial friends to attend so that they can help you with the photo challenge portion of the event. You’ll need to have a Facebook account in order to take part in the photo challenge. All registered participants will receive a Cozy Campfire 12-Seater upon successfully completing all of the Caravan Challenge tasks. At the end of the event, all 10 challengers will participate in a dice roll to win one of the caravans on display in the Aurora Highway Rest Stop Neighborhood.

To participate, you’ll need 10 decorative house and garden virtual items from your inventory. You can decorate with items you already have or purchase new items to use for the event. You will be responsible for the cost of all virtual goods used in the competition. The decorative items belong to you and can be picked up after the event. You can choose to decorate the caravan’s interior, outside yard or both. Stick with the theme. No giant pickles or brown piles. ‘Doh
The Caravan Challenge competition and awards ceremony will span two hours. It will be split into three back to back events. You must be able to commit to participating online in the event for 120-minutes. The first 30-minute event will be invite-only for the 10 competitors. During this time the Event Host and Co-Host will go over what’s to be expected of you during the competition. You will be assigned a caravan to decorate in a Neighborhood Lot. During set-up, you will schedule an event in your Lot that will allow you decorating privileges. Send your friends an event invitation to stop by and cheer you on during the decorating part of the competition. You’ll need their help for the photo challenge portion of the event. After the 30-minute set-up event ends, the hour-long scheduled Caravan Challenge will begin. You will have 20 minutes to decorate your caravan with 10 virtual items. You will have 40 minutes to complete the photo challenge with friends. If you finish decorating before the 20 minutes is up, you can get a head start on the photo portion of the competition. You’ll need three or more buddies to help with the photo part of the challenge. The more the merrier – invite all of your Buddies.
Your friends can play a game of Cracked or relax by the campfire and watch you do all of the heavy lifting during the decorating portion of the challenge. As soon as you are done decorating, round up your posse to assist you with the five photo tasks needed to complete the second part of the Caravan Challenge. Keep in mind trying to take group photos is sometimes like herding cats, so do your best to capture the silly side of everyone.
Ready for your photo challenge?!
PHOTO TASK #1 – Pose with the gang outside of your newly decorated caravan. Do a TRY IT with the Grape Stomp Prop. Make sure everyone has a barrel of grapes to stomp their frustrations out in. You can Try It or purchase a caravan or camping outfit from Auctions for the photo-op. On the count of ‘3 everyone does the ‘JIG emote and the photographer captures the moment.
PHOTO TASK #2 – Sit down at the Cracked Game table next to your caravan. Start a one-round game of Cracked. You can play the round if you have enough time or just let the timer run out so the little chick cracks open under pressure. Take a group photo with the cracked egg at the game table AND snap a pic of the avatar holding the little chickadee. You’ve got to capture his cute little face in the picture.

PHOTO TASK #3 – Make friends with the horses. The cool kids are encouraged to wear western outfits and cowboy hats. Find the best acrobat in your troupe and have them perform a ‘HANDSTAND on top of a horse. At the same time your star tumbler is upside down, the rest of your crew emotes the ‘GIDDYUP dance move. Pics or it didn?t happen!

PHOTO TASK #4 – Word on the street from the neighboring community Aurora Gulch is that there is a wild stampede of bison roaring through populated parts of Aurora Highway. Travelers passing through camp yesterday said their donkey got spooked from the thunder of the stampede and took off hee-haw’ing down the highway with three days worth of food and their last roll of toilet paper. Tell your regulators to mount up, because it’s time to let those ranching and rodeo skills shine! Capture a photo of your posse riding one of the herds of bison roaming through the middle of the caravan camp.

PHOTO TASK #5 – The Aurora Highway Rest Stop bathrooms have been rated 5 stars by the Thereian Transportation Agency for the past decade. Aurora caravans and travelers can count on the rest area being clean and well stocked with the ?good kind? of toilet paper. The Aurora Parks and Rec Department has been able to maintain bathroom supplies for the busy rest stop location despite mass hysteria toilet paper shortages reported in Caldera, Kansas and Nada. This last photo challenge requires your crew to steal all of the toilet paper out of the rest stop bathrooms. Yes, you get a roll of TP and you get a roll of TP and YOU get a roll of TP! EVERYBODY GETS A ROLL OF TP! To commemorate your crew?s shenanigans, cram as many of your friends as you can into the two available outhouses at the Aurora Highway Caravan Events Lot. Hold your roll of stolen*toilet paper (Use the Try It option) and snap a picture of the crew throwing up a ?HOLE emote sign. Made you look!

Complete all five photo tasks and post them all at once to your Facebook page by the end of the competition. If you are short on time, you can use the first 10 minutes of the awards ceremony to post your pics and tag us. Make sure to tag our Facebook page @ThereVirtualWorld and any friends that helped you with the photo challenge. As the leader of the pack, your avatar must be present in each photo with name tags turned on. Ideally, we would like to see at least three or more people completing the photo challenge with you. There will also be spectators at this event and you can pull people in from the audience to help if you need it.
FREE virtual drinks will be provided to all of your friends who participate in the photo challenge with you. Free drinks on the house for event spectators too. ?Cheers
Are you up for the challenge?! If so, REGISTER your avatar to compete and round up a posse of your trusty friends to help you score a shiny new caravan.
