My Profile

Your profile serves two important purposes. First, it gives you a space where you can share information about who you are (both In There and Out There) with other members. Second, your profile provides you with tools which let you update and manage your account.
You can also learn more about the people you meet in There by viewing their profile page. Just click the View Profile option from their name tag, or by clicking on their name in any search results list (e.g., the people search in There Central).

Only the Life in There and Life Out There sections of your profile are visible to other members. The remaining sections: Availability, User Info, Member Info, Billing Info, Transaction History, and Password, are visible only to you.

Life in There

Some of these sections are automatically filled out for you, such as:

The date you began your membership
Your current Fun Pass status
Your buddy list stats (number of buddies, etc.)
Clubs (if you belong to any)
Auctions (both as a seller and a bidder)
Events you're hosting
Your Classifieds (if you have any)
Your current Skill level. You can even check how close you are to leveling up! (That info is only viewable by you.)
Other parts of Life in There are there for you to fill out with your own info. These are optional, and can be edited or updated at any time: A URL to display a photo, and a personal message. This photo represents your life in There, so it should be of or related to your avatar.
The last part of Life in There is your settings. You decide whether you want your profile to be visible to everyone (except your ignores), or to your buddies only. This setting can be changed at any time.

Life out There

Life out There is entirely filled out by you, and is entirely optional. You may fill out some, all, or none of the fields. The information on this page may be changed at any time.

Life out There includes space for the following:

A personal photo (plus caption) of you outside of There.
A personal message or greeting
Your age range
Your gender
Your geographical location
Some of your interests
Your marital status
Your hobbies and interests
A URL (to a homepage or website)
More info about you (anything you'd like to include, like a favorite quote, the names of your pets, or the number of shoes in your closet!)
Account Settings
The remaining sections of your profile allow you to customize, manage, and update your There account.

Availability - Allows you to specify how long it takes for your status to display as idle.
User Info and Billing Info - Displays your name and address as provided at the time of registration. You may use this area to update this information as necessary.
Member Info - Displays your There membership programs.
Password - Allows you to change your account password.
Transaction History - Displays a record of all your Therebucks transactions.
