What is TGT?
There's Got Talent is a weekly talent show where Thereians can show off their talents including, but not limited to, the following: singing, rapping, poetry, guitar, piano, stand-up comedy, and impressions.
What are the rules?
GENERAL
- Voice must be turned on to hear the performances.
- We will use the There's Got Talent group IM to most effectively enjoy the performances.
- Do not spam or flood chat.
- Respectfully, please keep "swearing" or "cussing" to a minimum.
- If your group IM chat stops working, please leave the IM and re-join. Contact Aneirin or a cohost if issues continue.
- All t-bux donations are absolutely non-refundable.
AUDIENCE
- Please refrain from using voice chat during performances.
- Do not stand in front of the stage and preferably use a sit tag within the funzone.
PERFORMERS
- Performances are first-come, first-served as soon as the event begins. IM Aneirin or any cohosts during the event to reserve a spot.
- Each performer may only perform once during the event unless stated otherwise.
- Performances should be kept no longer than 8-10 minutes in length.
- Performances will start 10 minutes after the event starts.
- Sign-ups will be closed 10-15 minutes prior to the end of the event.
- Performers must be present for the dice roll at the end of the event to qualify.
How is the winner chosen?
There will be a dice roll at the end of the event for performers to win T$ donated by myself and event participants in the tip jar near the stage. There will be 2 prizes handed out at each event by splitting the T$ 50/50 between the two winners.
What about sponsors?
I'll accept sponsors that wish to donate 4,500T (or more) to fund the prizes. This means a club, an individual, funzone, hood, etc. can sponsor a TGT event. I will match the sponsor's donation up to 9,000T for the prize as well as accept T$ donations in the donation box near the stage. 100% of the proceeds will go towards the final prize.
Do you need cohosts?
I would love to have one or two cohosts that could be used as back-up hosts or help with keeping the event going smoothly. Talk to me, Aneirin, for more information.
